Google launched its instant messenger yesterday, and there is a huge fan club building up for that. The IM application called Google Talk has an excellent interface, and nearly most of the people I know are using it; and this is within a few hours of its launch.

With an exceptionally nice and simple interface, this IM client is a definite plus. I would love to see how Google develops this new service further. The stakes in the IM domain just got raised !!!

    Google Talk is really hot right now. Its yet another messenger launched and doing pretty well. My husband received a message on his yahoo messenger by one of his friends about google talk and my husband downloaded it right away.

    Though I havent had a chance to use it so I cant say much about the product. But from the looks of it - its pretty good.

    These days YAHOO messenger is also excellent. You can not only talk to the person but can also leave a voice message. This is great for us who are living abroad but have families in India.

    Another hot messenger is Skype [http://www.skype.com/] - you can talk for free anywhere in the world. Voice quality is also good.

    Hey … I did not know that you can leave a voice message as an offliner in yahoo messenger. This sounds very interesting.
