Orange Advanced GPRS

I have subscribed to the Orange advanced GPRS to check out its performance in terms of web surfing speeds et al. The pricing is outrageous, with a standard fee of Rs. 499 bucks that gives you only 100 Mb of data transfer. Any data transfer above 100 Mb is priced at Rs. 0.50 per 10 kb. This did not appeal to me much, as a Reliance data card would be a much cheaper option compared to an Orange subscription. Most of the websites that I surf have banners and pictures, and even if I turn off my picture settings, there is still limited web surfing that I can do. The evaluation is turning out to be very negative for Orange A-GPRS service. The speeds are decent (nearing 400 kbps), as compared to Reliance dialup (nearly 150 kbps).

Qumana

I have just downloaded Qumana LE, which is a new blog tool. This is my first post using that, and already I am getting enticed by the the application. The whole package looks very interesting, though I am yet to explore it. Will be posting a review of the app shortly.
